The Choc Affair journey began in 2006, when Linda began to experiment with chocolate in her kitchen, making hot chocolate stirrers for her girls; who at the time, were lactose intolerant. From this first idea, Choc Affair has grown, now being an independent, family-run business that supplies chocolate to more than 500 retailers across the UK. Voted as No.1 chocolate brand in Fine Food Digest’s ‘Best Brands 2018/19’, we would like to think that our strong values and passionate team go past ‘just’ selling chocolate. With a focus on caring for our environment, and respecting people and communities; Choc Affair is constantly reviewing products, packaging, and their impact on the world; meaning that as a retailer, you can be sure that our products are right on trend and respectful to our planet. So; we invite you to become a part of our journey – and start buying more than ‘just chocolate’. We take our role in caring for our planet seriously. Ensuring that our chocolate is made from sustainably grown cocoa, and the ingredients we use are completely free from palm oil. 75% of our packaging is widely recyclable too; and we aim to improve on this further. Our Inclusive Employment Initiative involves working with local agencies to provide employment opportunities for people who find accessing the workplace difficult. Further afield, we financially invest in a children’s sponsorship programme based in Uganda.
