Owners Chuck Senior and Nancy Deadman began with 19 flavours of their homemade super premium ice cream. As their ice cream gained in popularity in the Madison area, the Chocolate Shoppe explains, they began selling to local restaurants. Soon the ice cream portion became the main focus of their business . At that time, the name became Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream. Anita Shrestha, who came to the area from Nepal, are among several independent Chocolate Shoppe owners in the Midwest. Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Skokie has been serving its award winning super premium ice cream at 4041 Dempster St, Skokie since 2012. Chocolate Shoppe ice cream tastes so good because it has gobs of rich cream and tons of real ingredients for boat-loads of luscious flavors.
