About Choice Career Counseling

Choice Career Counseling helps people find meaning and purpose in their careers so they can lead whole lives. Amanda is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and holds a Master of Education and Human Resources Studies with a specialization in Counseling and Career Development from Colorado State University. She is also a Certified Career Counselor and Certified Gallup Strengths Coach. Choice Career Counseling allows Amanda to combine her passion for helping people become their best selves with her enthusiasm for keeping up to date on the changing world of work and how that shapes our lives. Amanda’s very first job out of college was at a staffing firm. It was there that she discovered her talent for coaching people on how to tell their stories in a way that connected them to hiring managers and, most importantly, got them hired. In the nearly 20 years since that first job, Amanda has continued to partner with those who are working towards a better life for themselves and their families. It is her honor and privilege to walk alongside them as they discover meaning and purpose and create their unique paths. Amanda’s counseling and coaching style is direct and compassionate. She will provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to reflect, learn, and grow. She will support you and, at the same time, help you lean into the challenges that may be keeping you from building your most meaningful pathway in life. The content for each session will be co-created. The first session will include goal setting and action planning for your time together. Amanda is available for individual career counseling.
