About Choices for Youth

Choices for Youth is a community-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving homeless and at-risk youth. Operating out of St. John’s, Newfoundland, each year we interact with hundreds of individuals coming from across the province. We provide a system of support that includes basic needs and shelter; addressing trauma and psychological barriers, and empowering programs that work towards self-awareness and ultimately, integration into the broader community. Focusing on the most vulnerable youth in our community, all of our work is designed around intensive models of support to provide three Key Life Factors: • Stable Housing • Stable Employment • Stable Education Our programming is modeled on the successful work of our peers across Canada, tailored to the unique context of our communities.
