About Chordal Green
Chordal Green is a specialist joinery company - manufacturing luxury, bespoke fitted interiors. Based in South East England we work out of workshops and offices set in beautiful Essex countryside, near the village of Matching Tye. Our farm building on Housham Hall’s estate overlooks the 18th century farmhouse and is surrounded by fields and woodland. We are a high-end cabinet maker / designer and we make handmade, fitted furniture for commercial and private interior projects - from fitted wardrobes, dressing rooms, living rooms and kitchens in residential properties - to stripping out and completely refitting bars and restaurants. We work to high standards and have a hard-working, committed, muscular approach to the projects we take on. Our client-base is varied - from commercial property developers, architects, interior architects, interior designers and design-driven individuals, to property management companies. We offer a very personal service, tailored to the needs of our clients - we take commissions throughout the UK and abroad. Environment We are an environmentally responsible company, using natural materials where possible. We combine the best of traditional techniques and natural materials with modern manufacturing. The timber, veneer and board materials we use carry Forest Stewardship Certification, which guarantees that our wood is sourced from certified, responsibly-managed forests. Our spray shop uses water-based lacquers and paints, we also recycle lots of our waste material including our sawdust and timber off-cuts. We continually monitor our source materials and manufacturing processes to reduce our impact on the environment.
