Chris Schmidt of Chris’ Plumbing and Backflow Preventer Services, LLC has an active, certified master plumbing license with the State Plumbing Board of Louisiana. Chris started working in the plumbing industry in the mid 70’s with his uncle on the weekend and summers into the mid 80’s. He attended plumbing classes in VOTEC school in high school. After serving in the Army, Chris continued his passion for plumbing, passing both the Journeyman’s and Master plumbing exams. To qualify to take the Master Plumber’s exam, Chris had to first become a Journeyman plumber – completing at least 5 years or 8,000 hours of experience installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems.
