About Christ Church Nashville
OUR VISION Christ Church Nashville is a three streams congregation, uniting the liturgical, evangelical, and charismatic streams of the church into one unified expression of devotional and missional life.  By liturgical, we mean that we believe and order our practices around the faith that at all times and in all places has been believed by the whole people of God. We place emphasis on the historical practices of the church, most regularly expressed through our celebration of baptism, communion, and holy days. By evangelical, we mean that it is our desire to uphold the holy canon of Scripture, delivered to us through the sacrifice of the saints, as our standard and guide for teaching and discipleship. Furthermore, we believe that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ and it is our mission to share this news with all of our neighbors. By charismatic, we mean that we believe the Holy Spirit is actively working to transform us and equip us for mission in the world. It is our desire that our church and our people will be filled with all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit so that we might be formed deeper into the image and character of Christ. OUR MISSION Worship—To glorify and honor God as Creator, Redeemer, and Giver of Life. Proclamation—To declare the Gospel under the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Discipleship—To teach, train, and embody the Christian faith. Community—To connect and engage with other believers. Missions—To support the work of the Gospel among all peoples.
