About Christmas Bureau of Edmonton

Since 1940, the Christmas Bureau has been providing food (and joy) to Edmontonians in need during the holidays. Rooted in community and compassion, our organization is connected to over 100 social service agencies, community partnerships, and 800+ volunteers to bring together our Festive Food Hamper Program. We believe it is greater than one meal and that one act of kindness can impact someone for a lifetime. Operational all year long, it takes our team 10 months to plan, coordinate, and execute food service deliveries to over 55,000 people during the holiday season. No easy task. From our dedicated volunteers, community partners, and donors, it took (takes) an entire community to help a community. So, we implore you to find new ways to help during this season of renewal. Whether it’s your time, monthly donations, fundraising efforts, or corporate sponsorships, everything everywhere and all at once will make an incredible difference before December 25.
