About Chronically Creative

A British children's media company who aspires to entertain, to educate and to inspire. After the media got a bad rep for mistreating stories and attacking people, our founder Helena Mitchell (Presenter, actor, comedian, voiceover and writer) decided to create Chronically Creative as a way to give back to doctors and nurses who have helped her and use media for good. Inspiring both children and adults via co viewing/reading to be confident in themselves and their creativity. All whilst developing their imaginations and knowledge of the world to help spread kindness and joy, especially after the difficult times we have all faced over the last couple of years. Helena lives with 9 autoimmune chronic health conditions. As a result she is an advocate for raising awareness of invisible illnesses both mental and physical, in order to eliminate the stigma and help those like her understand they are wanted, seen, heard and most importantly not alone. We do this in several ways including: 2D animation, books and live events.
