About Chrysalis Partnership
Chrysalis Partnership was founded to create a spark in the 'rehabilitation revolution'. It was founded by 2 sisters Elizabeth Campton Sturridge having 6 years experience within the construction and recruitment sector, and Victoria Graham, a serving West Midlands Police Officer having over 10 years offender management experience. Chrysalis act as a recruitment agency who provide employment opportunities for ex offenders and prisoners due for release with the long term aim of helping to break the cycle of re offending. The UK is suffering skills shortages across many industries, this means that we will be short of more than 3 million skilled workers by 2050 unless the pool of suitably trained employees grow. Analysis shows that by 2050, the UK will have an estimated population of 74.5 million and will need a workforce of 35.4 million to meet demand from employers, but the eligible workforce will fall short by 3.1 million. Identifying the areas of shortages within certain skills sets and offering the relevant training to ex-offenders/prisoners will not only enhance employability skills and increase employment opportunities for ex offenders, it will bolster the UK's skilled workforce ensuring we are open for business and capable of meeting the demand. Chrysalis Partnership actively promote and encourage other employers to employ ex offenders and to challenge the misconceptions of their work ethic!
