We empower Israeli couples to marry according to Halacha - without the Chief Rabbinate. Chuppot is Israel’s only Orthodox initiative performing 1–2 halachic weddings daily independent of the Chief Rabbinate, each grounded in tradition, guided by choice, and protected by halachic prenuptial agreements to prevent aginut. We are part of Hashgacha Pratit, the Orthodox movement that shattered the Chief Rabbinate’s monopoly on kosher supervision in 2018. Building on that landmark Supreme Court victory, we turned to the next frontier of religious freedom in Israel: marriage. Our network of male and female officiants provides Orthodox, egalitarian weddings with compassion, dignity, and integrity. Beyond weddings, we work to change the system - through education, policy advocacy, and digital engagement - ensuring Jewish life in Israel is driven by values and choice, not coercion. Halacha should be a bridge, not a barrier.
