We are an independent UK based investment manager, founded in 1999 and owned by senior staff and management with one significant external shareholder in the Cayzer Trust Company. Church House has a team of highly experienced fund managers running six funds, with strong performance records. The Church House funds were designed to be the ‘building blocks’ of our discretionary private client portfolios, and having been opened to external investors in 2014, are now widely used by advisers and wealth managers managing portfolios on behalf of their own clients. Investment professionals have been attracted to the consistent, low-volatility returns of our Tenax Absolute Return Strategies Fund, our expertise in credit investing exemplified by the Investment Grade Fixed Interest Fund, and increasingly, by the impact of our investment approach across a choice of equity funds, particularly our UK Equity Growth Fund which boasts a 20-year track record of success. Church House has been included in the Financial Reporting Council’s list of successful signatories to the UK Stewardship Code, which establishes a high standard of stewardship for asset managers, asset owners and service providers when investing money on behalf of UK savers and pensioners.
