CIGET is an industrial company that designs products with the aim of reducing litter. More specifically, we are currently directing our focus toward cigarette buts, which account for the largest share of litter. The founder of CIGET is Karel Daniels. His inspiration for founding his own company is a direct result of the litter campaigns he organize and take part in. Ever since he was 15 years old, he would regularly ride his cargo bike around his city and its surrounding areas picking up litter. Karel’s goal with CIGET is to put an end to the disposable culture that prevails among smokers. By tackling the root of the problem directly, he believes that we can definitely make an impact on our environment with the help of such a product.
