About Ciné Schools

We work hand-in-hand with a wide range of schools across the public and private sector to offer film making clubs and camps, during term time and in the school holidays. Our Film Academies run after school within the school hosting the club and provide the children with the opportunity to come together to make an original short film each term. We start with an idea, pitching these to camera before working through the whole production process, introducing the children to many aspects of film making. Starting with idea generation we quickly move to storyboarding, set and prop design, casting, acting, directing, lighting, foley and soundtrack. We offer an Introduction to Film Making certificate accredited by the British Film Institute to children experiencing all the different roles and skills. We also work with schools to support the inclusion of film making within the curriculum. Our team are all experienced educators with a mix of backgrounds in the creative and film making industries. They bring together many years of experience in producing digital content, adverts, short films and much more. This combination delivers a fun and exciting environment that allows the children to demonstrate their creativity in many new and different ways.
