It was 1953 when Rodel Spa was founded by Giacomo Rocca as a solution to the rediscovered femininity in the postwar period: women felt the need to get back to those soft fabrics and refined dresses they were missing for a long time. The company grew from being a trade business to a fashion enterprise focused on tailor-made production, leading to the birth of the Cinzia Rocca brand by the end of the 80s, named after Giacomo’s only daughter. And who better than a woman can understand her clients’ needs? Cinzia was not just giving her name to the brand: she became, and still is, the beating heart of the company. Cinzia Rocca leaves its mark in the fashion industry as a “urban couture” style where quality, accessible luxury, tradition and technology meet, bringing the Italian craftmanship values worldwide. The brand is present through its flagship stores in Italy, Russia and China and in some of the most important fashion showcases in Milan, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Helsinki and Stockholm, Reykjavik, New York, Montreal, Oslo, Mosca, Minsk and Varsavia, Riga, Almaty, Baku, Seoul and Hong Kong. Season by season, Cinzia Rocca collections are inspired by different places and eras which explain the avant-garde shapes and bright colors of its garments, enhanced by accurately selected materials: cashmere, alpaca, mohair, camel are just some of the precious textiles that are daily manufactured by the company’s 300 tailors. Cinzia Rocca has been worn by celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Cindy Crawford, Halle Berry, Uma Thurman and Leelee Sobieski and it is part of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion (Camera Della Moda) and the Milan Fashion Week official calendar since 2015.
