Cipa S.p.A was founded in 1986 and it initial activity of making doing small and medium diameter tunnels and shafts. Infact the Cipa's slogan from the bigenning was: "For years we’ve been pursuing the goal of being a small company capable of solving big problems" Now we are not so small, but our mission and vision are always to have capable of solving big problems. Now we expanded our activity also to large diameter tunnels and general consolidations and foundations, underground parkings and civil works, a development we owe to our skilled and experienced people wearing collars both white and blue, but also to the continuously evolving operating equipment, which represents a significant part of the company’s value. The Company is active throughout Italy and thanks to an international expansion programme as early as 2012 overseas work exceeded 30% of total revenues. Cipa is active in Algeria, Denmark, Poland, Israel and Morocco, with advanced negotiations for new projects in France, Norway, Sweden, Albania, and Saudi Arabia (where it already has its Branch). In 2013, Cipa SpA’s growth brought it into the ranks of Italy’s top 100 construction companies. Likewise, the Italian association of building constructors (ANCE) ranked Cipa in 20th place in its 2016 report of the Italian construction companies all around the world. With proud we can say that there is no underground in Italy to which Cipa has not made a contribution, now we can add the Warsaw and Copenaghen. Cipa SpA has more than € 25 million in equipment, with an in house sector dealing with repairs and mechanical constructions, both in the main quarter and at every active worksite. Between Italy and overseas, the company has for years employed a workforce in excess of 500 units. This circumstance makes the com- pany particularly attentive to the needs of its personnel, who are its strong point, to confirm one other slogan that is: "Our real capital..are Human Resources"
