About Circular Textiles Foundation

The Circular Textiles Foundation (CTF) are on a mission to lower the impact of clothing by designing it so it can be recycled. Our vision is a future where clothing and textiles are designed for recyclability as standard practice. To achieve this, we provide workshops and in-depth circularity training programmes to brands, suppliers and universities, specialising in product analysis and design opportunities. #DesignForRecyclability We are the only UK organisation to offer verification and certification in garment recyclability. Our ‘Infinitee’ mark proves to customers that a product is designed to be recycled. Our role is to bridge the gap between brands and textile recycling technologies, championing fibre to fibre recyclers and their products. We currently partner with five of Europe’s leading fibre to fibre recyclers operating at scale, all who champion the role design plays in ensuring clothing can be recycled at the end of its usable life. “Designing for recyclability gives us the feedstock of tomorrow” The CTF is driven by industry professionals who have worked throughout the fashion and retail sector. We bring over 40 years of experience, with backgrounds in design, buying, production, manufacturing and sustainability. From the high street and luxury retail to uniform and workwear, we genuinely understand some of the challenges the industry faces today.
