About Cirrus Rehos Renewable Power & Water (Pty)

We are the South African atmospheric water generation (AWG) specialists and locally manufacture a range of AWG machines, both for rental and for full ownership. Our standard products assembled in our factory in the Western Cape include a 100 Litre/day machine, a 500 Litre/day, as well as a 1000 Litre/day AWG machine, but we also manufacture custom designed larger AWG equipment in the Megaliter/day range. Our R&D program over the last few years developed a novel low electricity consumption absorption heat transformer (AHT) for replacing the conventional vapor compression type chillers. Our new AHT-type chillers use waste heat to power the chiller, requiring only a fraction of the electricity the conventional chillers used. These novel AHT-based AWG units are currently in development and planned to be available in 2024/25, drastically reducing the real operational cost of AWG produced water. In our R&D department, we also developed a new machine fully powered by the thermal energy it extracts from the air, and it not only power itself to produce AWG water, but also generate excess electricity that may be used for powering external electrical loads. We call this environmental thermal energy extractor the ET-Power & AWG machine, as it converts thermal environmental energy (waste heat) into power and have this extremely useful by-product with simultaneous water production! With our development program concluding final demonstrations currently, we are re-focusing now on the first production line to manufacture ET-Power products, leading to the launch of the commercial products on the global market.
