At CITE (Community Initiative for Trial Equity), we’re not here to tweak the system—we’re here to transform it. Our mission is bold: to ensure that people of color are seen, heard, and centered in every stage of clinical research. Because medical breakthroughs should benefit everyone—and that starts with inclusive, community-powered science. We exist to remove the structural and cultural barriers that limit opportunities for communities of color in clinical trials. Through culturally grounded, community-led engagement, we build trust where it’s been broken. We fuel participation with education, access, and real support—meeting people where they are and honoring the lived experiences that shape their health journeys. Our work is rooted in equity—not just as a value, but as a strategy. We embed it into every layer of science, policy, and practice. From rural towns to urban centers, we collaborate with sponsors, advocacy groups, and healthcare systems to co-create solutions that reflect real lives and real needs.
