About Citizen Design Build
We are a company that is focused on working within Indigenous communities where we continuously strive to provide vocational opportunities that foster a supportive, safe, and stable work environment, promoting a trajectory of hope. Our apprenticeship program, developed in collaboration with Skilled Trades BC, Vancouver Island University, and the Halalt Nation, allows our team to teach and train apprentices on-site while working within Indigenous communities. We take a collaborative approach for every project, focusing on integrating the client’s needs while ensuring we can provide a sustainable, energy efficient design for each build. This is accomplished by working closely with our skilled team of apprentices, carpenters, site managers, project managers, and designers, while incorporating our Core Values – Care, Culture, Quality, and Cause – into every part of our process.
