About Citizen Jones
One-time American Film Institute classmates Jonah Bekhor and Jonas Bell Pasht launched Citizen Jones in 2014 as a full-service television and film production company. Bringing cinematic storytelling and style to nonfiction entertainment, Bekhor and Bell Pasht have executive produced projects for Netflix, CNN, Quibi, Discovery Communications, A+E Networks, Red Bull TV, Epix, E!, TruTV, Fuse, The New York Times Op-Docs, ESPN, Snapchat, GQ, Pepsi and many others. Citizen Jones productions have featured a wide array of personalities, including Will Ferrell, David Lynch, Van Jones, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Peter Dinklage, Diana Ross, Minnie Driver, Jerry West, T-Pain, Baron Davis, Jim James, Jason Lee, Lou Gossett Jr., Dita Von Teese and many others. Having championed diverse voices since its inception, in 2019 Citizen Jones received its second consecutive NAMIC Vision Awards for Diversity for content that is “reflective of the depth and breadth of the lives, spirit and contributions of people of color”.
