About City Angels Baseball Academy

City Angels Baseball Academy (CABA) is a non-profit youth development program utilizing organized baseball to engage youth in prosocial activities and athletics to reduce engagement in behaviors that contribute to adverse outcomes. The program supports and provides enrichment for youth ranging from ages 9 to 19 from the Greater New Haven area. CABA was founded on the principle that keeping young players engaged and focused will benefit the community as a whole. Positive experiences in team sports builds strong social skills and personal responsibility; and commitment to a team keeps youths busy in a constructive way. CABA’s mission is to keep the kids active and engaged in their community by involving them in quality organized sports. This mission is accomplished by participating in competitive level leagues, and staffing experienced coaches. Year round practice and game opportunities keep our players focused on developing as athletes and good citizens. The City Angels Baseball Academy indoor training facility, located in New Haven's Annex, offers year round access to our urban community, rain or shine, prioritizing health, safety, and accessibility. By offering an affordable, accessible athletic opportunity CABA is keeping kids off the streets and out of trouble as part of the mission to counteract economic barriers to youth sport participation.
