We’re part of City & Guilds, the skills organisation and registered charity with almost 150 years’ heritage of changing lives through skills. Through our training providers Gen2, Intertrain, City & Guilds Training – Electrical, and our trusted partner network, we’re transforming training in the UK and globally across critical sectors including engineering, construction, rail, energy and electrical. We believe in making a meaningful difference to society through the development of skills, so that people, organisations, and economies can thrive. And we do this collaboratively, working with industry to design, develop and deliver market leading in-demand training solutions that lead to jobs progression on the job, and help to close skills gaps. Our training programmes set the standard in technical skills. They provide learners with the skills and competency to do the jobs needed now and in the future. By investing in breaking down barriers to learning, we help employers attract, train, and retain talent and ensure employees fulfil their workplace potential, so driving social mobility in the communities we operate in. This is our purpose. A purpose which has endured since City & Guilds became a Royal Chartered Institute in 1900 and ensures we continuously invest in meeting the changing needs of organisations and industries, through campaigning for systemic improvements across the global skills training system, to recognition and advocacy programmes.
