About City to Ocean
City to Ocean works towards structural solutions to solve the problems of floating trash, bad water quality and lack of nature in our waterways. Therefore we organise fun trips all year round to go and fish the trash out of the water by kayak accesible for everyone like schools, families, teambuildings... At the same time we work out solutions to really solve the problems like our Mobile Green Trashbarrier, the installation of Green Floating islands with aquatic plants and solving the problem of Sewage Overflows during rain events. Everyone that joins us in our kayaks brings us one step closer to these structural solutions. It's a fun and educational activity while doing a good deed. One trip takes 1,5 hours, all materiel is provided and the meeting place is Akenkaai, 1000 Brussels.
