Civilab Australia Pty Ltd was founded in 1986 by three friends who had a long association together in the manufacture and supply of Construction Materials Testing Equipment. From the beginning we focused on building a company with the right recipe of Quality Products and prompt and efficient service. Business flourished and before long we had outgrown our modest premises, moved into a warehouse and doubled our office and storage capacity. In the early 1990's, after being appointed Agents for Humboldt Scientific and Wykeham Farrance Engineering, we formed an alliance with Civilab Southern and opened a second office in Geelong, soon to be followed by a second office in Brisbane. Servicing the Humboldt Densometer range was a prime objective and we embarked on building a NATA Calibration Facility which now trades under the banner of Civil Calibration Services. Further expansion in the NATA realm was achieved when we opened a branch in Adelaide and more recently our newly acquired premises in Brendale QLD. Both of these are NATA Accredited Facilities. A major strength of Civilab has always been a close alliance with our Manufacturing base, after all this is where our roots began as all three founders worked in an engineering shop which produced materials testing equipment in the 1960's. We have maintained this alliance and in 2003 expanded our manufacturing facility, Ridgedale Engineering, into larger premises attached to our Sales and Marketing warehouse. This means that we can maintain close control of the production of your order and offer prompt and efficient service on even the most obscure special order. You can be assured that in the future Civilab Australia is positioned to work and grow alongside the Civil Construction Industry, both here in Australia and Internationally.
