Civilitude was founded in 2010 when Fayez Kazi left a secure job out of a dissatisfaction with the way civil engineering was practiced in Austin. Nhat Ho, a former student of Fayez's at UT, soon joined Civilitude because they thought the human side of engineering was being neglected; that more personal and responsive customer service could be combined with creativity and tenacious advocacy to form true partnerships with clients where both parties were invested in the success of projects. The result has been sustained growth, a stellar track record, and a loyal customer base. 2020 is landmark year for Civilitude. It marks 10 years of being in business. 10 years of providing broader perspectives, fresh insights and forward thinking. 10 years of delivering landmark civil engineering projects. 10 years of shaping the city of Austin. And we look forward to the next 10. We have been involved with a wide variety of projects - site development projects for single-family residential, multi-family residential, institutional, commercial, and industrial uses, water, wastewater and chilled water improvements, water and wastewater treatment plants and liftstations, and roadways. We believe the firm grows organically when the team adds value consistently. Which is why our team members constantly challenge themselves to raise the bar with each project. Our diverse and incredibly talented team aspires to defy the status quo, while maintaining the focus on technical know-how – to deliver exactly when our clients need us.
