About Civitan Foundation

Since 1968, Civitan Foundation has been providing services to over 750 families yearly, seeking to radically change disability unemployment through quality careers, training and education. With the inception of Camp Civitan over 55 years ago, Civitan sought a way to bring the outdoors to disabled individuals. Through volunteer initiatives and Camp Providers, thousands upon thousands of adults and children have had adventurous experiences that would never have been possible. Fast forward, and under the leadership of CEO Dawn Trapp, Civitan has expanded across Arizona providing critical services to families with disabilities.
