About Clancy Briggs Cycling Academy
Founded by Ed Clancy OBE & Graham Briggs. Teaching children to ride can be a challenge. Many of us struggle to find the time in our lives and the right space in our busy urban environment to gift our children this life changing skill. The Clancy Briggs Cycling Academy offers a group environment which encourages learning and development. Your child will become part of a group that learns to play at cycling together, rewarding each other and spurring each other onwards as they acquire new skills and abilities. For many of us, being on a bike with friends is a thread that ties together years of childhood memories. At Clancy Briggs we want your child to create their own memories that they’ll take forward in life. Learning to ride is a gift we can give to the next generation and with it comes the likelihood that they’ll live a longer, happier and healthier life. In addition to our Flagship Academy in Doncaster, we have plans to open academies all over the UK - watch this space! We also have a Community Interest Company - Clancy Briggs Cycling Academy CIC. 100% of any donations funds places in the academy for those who need them most. In conjunction with our partnership with Hope Academy we can offer these children the bikes and all the equipment they need to join our academy. Graham Briggs -Winner of the first ever round of the Tour Series in 2009, over the course of his career he's been British National Champion, enjoyed a podium placing on a stage of the Tour of Britain and an International Stage Race win at the Tour Du Loir et Cher. With his ever present smile Graham is one of the most popular figures in the British Peloton.
