More than 70 years ago, two brothers-in-law founded Clancy & Theys Construction Company in Raleigh, NC to capitalize on the post-WWII construction boom. Guided by fairness, integrity, and a powerful motivation to make others successful, the Company quickly grew and expanded from residential to commercial construction—forever shaping our legacy. While our industry is ever-changing, our family-centered values are unwavering. They are engrained in all we do and the foundation for the Clancy Way. Unlike other large construction firms, Clancy & Theys is a privately-owned, family-run company. We have recently entered into a new era of leadership with three members of the next generation of the Clancy family and several non-Clancy family employees continuing our legacy. In 2022, Baker Glasgow, a proven leader in our Company for more than 15 years, took over as President following David T. “Tim” Clancy’s retirement. Under our new leadership, we will continue developing and empowering talented teams to provide innovative solutions while delivering an exceptional Clancy & Theys experience.
