Clara Woods was born on 10 March 2006 in Florence. The doctors find that she has had a prenatal stroke and condemn her to a lifelike a vegetable. After starting a rehabilitation program, she surprises everyone with her progress, but she has difficulty with the release of information and cannot speak, read or write even if she understands three languages. Clara found in painting a way of communicating with others but mainly with herself. In March 2018, at 12, she presented her first solo show in Florence that received great success from critics and the public and never stopped. She has exhibited her paintings in major Italian cities, adding more than 10 solo exhibitions to her curriculum, and has also presented her paintings in Japan, London, and the United States. Through her art and her life, Clara wants to promote inclusion and break barriers. Clara currently lives, works and studies in Florence.
