About Clarissa's Campaign for Cambridge Hearts
Clarissa studied French and Italian at the University of Cambridge and would now be in her final year. She lived life better than any of us. Her love, positivity, ambition and achievements were boundless. Last year, Clarissa collapsed and passed away from an undiagnosed heart condition. Clarissa is not the only Cambridge student to have lost their life due to a lack of cardiac checks; 1 in 300 youths carry a life-threatening cardiac condition. In cooperation with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), Clarissa’s family and the University, we are hoping to start an ECG screening service for Cambridge students. One screening day will cost £7,000. We are hoping to raise enough for an annual four-day service.
