Depression and Anxiety Treatment for Busy, Goal-Oriented People Our mission is to relieve suffering as efficiently as possible. We do so by committing fully to goal-oriented therapy that is filled with deep compassion, knowledge, and skill. We believe that excellent therapy is not simply talking about the problems of a particular week, nor should it typically take years to experience relief. What it requires is focused, empathic work using evidence-based strategies that leave people with a sense that the session was hard-yet-good. At the same time, we have the humility to accept people as they are and respect their self-determination. Another side of our identity is that we're a benevolent, people-first for-profit organization. Excellent mental health counseling shouldn't be restricted to those with money and a human services organization should not focus on maximum possible profit. Yet, the way that our nation's laws are structured for-profits are given the greatest ability to be generous and affect social change. We offer sliding scale and Medi-Cal to increase accessibility while also accepting private insurance and self-pay services for those that can afford it. This allows us to be generous while keeping the lights on. It's with this ethos and mindset that we offer individual, couples, family, and group counseling - either in person or via telehealth.
