Clarkson ITT Pty Limited is a small but well established consultancy specialising in advanced professional training in Excel and custom application development using the Microsoft® Office® family of applications, Visual Basic for Applications and Visual Basic. In October 1991, the company was founded by James Clarkson as Clarkson Business Services Pty Limited to provide consulting, development and training services to the finance sector and the financial functions in corporate clients. The company's name was changed in July 2007 to reflect a change of focus which has occurred in recent years. The principal focus now is the delivery of advanced professional Excel training for finance professionals. Clarkson ITT provides a range of Excel training courses which aim to develop and enhance the skills of professionals in finance and management. Its Excel courses are available both as public offerings and as in-house courses for client organisations. Public Excel courses are offered in Sydney in cooperation with the University of Technology, Sydney, both for in-class and correspondence study and in other locations, directly to the public. The relationship with UTS has persisted since the company's foundation.
