Classen LLC was founded by Mischa Classen to seize the momentum of the developing carbon markets, capitalising his experience and network. We believe that carbon markets and the multilateral cooperation in the UNFCCC plays the critical role in the global fight against climate change. Mischa Classen brings more than 15 years of experience in the carbon markets to bear and his name is linked with piloting of Article 6 like no one else. POLICY ADVISORY: We support governments, multilateral institutions, non-governmental organisations, family offices and corporates in understanding their priorities and how they resonate with carbon markets and the needs of their participants. MEANINGFUL CAPACITY BUILDING: Where capacity building is teaching content, we engage with you to derive meaning for you. How can your institution engage in a meaningful way, and what are corresponding consequences? TRANSACTIONS: We support you in designing your mitigation activity to work under the UN framework provided by Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, and in accordance with the requirements of the various buyer, be it sovereign countries or private entities subject to national compliance regulations.
