About Classicus Curriculum

Classicus is a classical homeschool curriculum for middle through high school students, which streamlines Biblical study with an emphasis on rhetorical excellence. While the Bible is the bedrock of all wisdom, the Scriptures make it clear that knowing what you believe is insufficient; you must also know why you believe it, and be prepared to answer others whenever they ask. Since the days of Quintillian's "Institutio Oratoria," a mastery of rhetoric has been the pinnacle of a classical education. The goal of Classicus is to teach students the classical method of study from a Biblical perspective, while also teaching them to defend what they believe eloquently and gracefully. Our core guiding principles are summarized best in our motto: "Founded in Theology, Supported by Logic, Leading to Confidence in Rhetoric."
