Clayton Engineering & Design (CE&D) is a full service Civil Engineering Consulting Firm. Founded by William S. Clayton, PE, who has worked in the field of Civil Engineering for 15 years. William worked for national and regional companies prior to starting Clayton Engineering & Design in the summer of 2015. William has extensive experience in civil engineering and has worked on residential, commercial, industrial and municipal projects during his career. He also has extensive experience with permitting and regulatory agencies including NCDENR, NCDOT, & USACE CE&D offers full service design and project management for projects of all sizes as well as specific services, as needed. In addition to these services, CE&D offers an array of construction services including bidding & contract award services; construction administration; construction engineering; and warrantee services. CE&D is a personal business that values and strives for relationships with its clients and colleagues. Our ability to build long-term relationships with people allows us to have many advantages which include; completing work in a timely manner, responding to questions, RFI’s, and other inquiries in reasonable time frames, and cooperative collaboration with fellow design professionals. We perform all work in a cost efficient manner and all projects have the personal attention of the Principal ensuring knowledge, quality, and value. Through our professional services for design, construction, and permitting, CE&D’s goal is to provide our clients with quality service for greater value.
