Clean Sheet is an award-winning charity that helps people with criminal convictions to find employment. We work with people who are talented but marginalised who want to move forward after prison and start afresh but face multiple barriers to doing so. Through this, we create positive and transformative social change by reducing reoffending, reducing future victims of crime and creating a safer society. We are a Christian charity, working with people of all faiths and none – our faith is our motivation for the work that we do but our services are open to all. We provide remote employment support comprising tailored advice, support and guidance on job searching, access to our Employers Directory (over 100 employers who will assess someone based on their merit and their skill rather than their conviction) and 12 months post-employment support and check-in to help with long-term job sustainability. We have an established track record of delivering results including: • Supporting over 1000 people with convictions into work in the last five years • Delivering high engagement and job sustainment rates – 66% engagement with us on average at 12 months post-employment, with 72% of those on average still in work. Businesses benefit from employees who are often more loyal and determined because they have been given a second chance • Helping to reduce reoffending and reducing the cost to the public purse – in 2022 alone, we helped 196 people with convictions into work or work-related training. The equivalent cost of housing 196 people in prison is over £8.7million
