About Clean Tech Africa
Clean Tech Africa is situated in the zoned industrial area of Berlin in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. (32052'23"S and 27034'01"E) It is close to the rural farming communities which form the focus of the South African governments agrarian reform strategies aimed at bridging the gap between first and second economies in the country. Clean Tech Africa is in discussions with the Provincial Agriculture Department and private farming co-operatives to secure a sustainable supply of canola/Soya feedstock - products which are the basis of one of the major agricultural projects within the Eastern Cape - from these rural farming communities. Farmers in these communities are shareholders in the co-op. The Clean Tech Africa site is on the main rail link to these rural farming areas, as well as being situated close to the deep water port of East London. The harbour is uncongested, and capable of handling our raw material and finished product logistics.
