About Clean Wake Media

Promoting Good through right action and intentional living... Clean Wake Media seeks to foster an appreciation for the cruising sailor's credo to "leave a clean wake." By creating content across a variety of channels—print, blog, podcast, video, social media, and more—we disseminate the clean wake ethos and provide practical, balanced, and non-preachy guidance and information to help others leave a clean wake as they sail through their lives. In addition to creating content ourselves, Clean Wake Media will provide a home for other creators and evangelists whose work aligns with and furthers our mission. We will partner with corporate, community, NGO, private foundation, and other organizations to spread the word and will be seeking sponsorships and grants to fund our work. In turn, we hope to be able to offer grants ourselves to others to support a thriving community of individuals and organizations dedicated to the proposition that one should try to leave the world a better place for one's passage through it. Our application for formal 501(c)(3) non-profit status is in process. Our first project, Leaving a Clean Wake is live at leavingacleanwake.com.
