After more than two decades in the world of talent acquisition—and over 15 years specialising in the animal feed/technical feed additives industry, I set up two successful recruitment businesses in this field for two other companies. Then in 2022, after 7 years working for other businesses, I decided it was time to shake things up and I launched my own business Clear Executive Search. My journey into this niche world started with five incredible years at ThePoultrySite.com and ThePigSite.com, where I travelled the globe, boots on the ground, learning everything from breeding and genetics right through to feed, health, and processing. It was an immersion into the full farm-to-fork story, and it gave me a deep understanding—and real respect—for the people behind the protein. Let’s be honest; recruitment can sometimes feel like a never-ending loop of CVs and crossed fingers. I knew it could be done better. So, I rolled up my sleeves, brought together my industry know-how, and developed a more focused, strategic approach that truly works. At the heart of Clear Executive Search is a simple belief: the right hire should feel like a perfect fit—not just for the role, but for the people and purpose behind it. That’s why I champion a retained executive search model, backed by a clever bit of tech (hello, Clarity™!) that gives clients real insight and candidates real confidence.
