About Clear Rivers
CLEAR RIVERS stops plastic pollution from reaching our seas and oceans. We clean and prevent. Since 2014 we clean rivers by organizing clean ups and with the development of passive Litter Traps. This directly stops litter from further polluting open waters. While we clean, we start to prevent. With education and awareness campaigns we prevent single used plastics from being used and littered. Recycling durably re-uses the recovered plastics. A circular economy prevents plastics from being littered. Founded in the Netherlands, CLEAR RIVERS now also has representatives in Indonesia, Vietnam and a production of our Litter Traps in Thailand. Our potential is a global approach to plastic pollution with projects already in Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Netherlands and Vietnam. CLEAR RIVERS always collaborates with international and local partners to reach the highly needed durable solution to plastic pollution.
