Cleardrum BV is originally a Dutch company specialized in the development, construction and sales of innovative drum filters. We call our drum filters innovative as they bring the robust and reliable features of mechanical filtration but without the former disadvantages that are normally associated with drum filters. With our product line based on our globally patented technology we are currently focussing on (public) swimming pools. As our development work continues, we expect to launch more product lines in the future. This would position us to also serve other markets that have demanding requirements on filtration, while also having the ambition to save on water and energy. The Cleardrum is a mechanical and self-cleaning filter able to filter out parts as small as 30 mu (micrometer). The highly efficient drum filter runs without the need for increased pressure, using only the already present water current in the system. To realise this same objective, conventional drum filters all face issues with efficiency, corrosion, location and configuration in the pool building and cleaning cycles. Our patented technology - based on a fully submerged drum filter - tackles all of these issues and therefore provides amongst others the following benefits: - The drum filter can be positioned in any desired location as long as such location is below pool level (most naturally in the basement, along with other technical installations) - Fully submerged during operations means no chance for corrosion to occur - Fully water and air tight system, no leakages of water, chloride air and odours - Use of 100% of the filter surface brings at least 30% capacity gain - Filter tank, drum filter and filter maze all in stainless steel - Automatic removal of particles, no need for manual cleaning.
