The Miss Universe Organization and Miss USA Organization empowers women to develop the confidence they need to achieve their personal best. A confident woman has the power to make real change, starting in her local community with the potential to reach a global audience. We encourage every woman to get out of her comfort zone, be herself. Since 1997 the Clemente Organization has produced state pageants for Miss USA and Miss Teen USA for the Miss Universe and Miss USA Organizations. They currently run the state pageants in Massachusetts and Maine, and have previously run the pageants for New Hampshire, Connecticut and Vermont. In 1998 and 2003 the titleholder from Maine won the nationally televised Miss USA pageant and their delegates have placed in the Top 15, Top 10 and Top 5 at both Miss USA and Miss Teen USA. The Clemente Organization holds the license for the Maine and Massachusetts events for The Miss USA Organization. The Miss USA Organization uses its global grassroots reach to empower women to be self-confident and strive to be their personal best. The MISS UNIVERSE®, MISS USA®, and MISS TEEN USA® pageants provide an international platform through dedicated partnerships with charities, sponsors, and brands around the world.
