Two-time World Freestyle Champion, John Clendenin found his niche and developed his Method skiing mogul fields that abound on Aspen Mountain. The Clendenin Method gives all skiers the ability to safely ski all terrain, in all conditions, in control. All John’s Programs teach the secrets of speed management – once learned these simple fundamentals translate immediately to all-mountain skiing. John’s passion for sharing this technique lead to the publication of his book, “Clendenin Ski Method: Four Words for Great Skiing” and the release of his instructional DVD “Finding the Love Spot”. The Clendenin Bump School, is the longest running Specialty Program in the Ski and Snowboard Schools of Aspen. While the majority of Clendenin Method clients continue to be baby boomers, John’s Adult Specialty Program attracts skiers of all ages and abilities. Clients soon learn that the Clendenin Method ratchets their mogul skiing to new levels and opens the confidence door to all the steep and deep. As John says, "The whole mountain is tamed when you learn to dance with gravity!" After more than 20 years as a Fully Certified PSIA Instructor, John’s passion remains providing his students with the skills to ski safely, in control, and with less fatigue, in all terrain, especially bumps and moguls.
