About Cleveland Fusion

The Cleveland Fusion is a women's, full contact, professional football team. Established 15 years ago, it is recognized as one of the premier teams in the league, ranking in the top 5%. The Cleveland Fusion plays in the Women's Football Alliance, the NFL of professional women's football. With over 60 teams across the country, the play is fast and the the competition is fierce. The league plays full contact, college rules, football, utilizing the entire 100 yd field. Most importantly the players are among of the best athletes in the world. Many of the players were Division 1 college athletes and more than a dozen of them competed in this years Summer Olympics. Well over 90% of the United States National Team members are Women's Football Alliance players. The Fusion plays in the very strong National Conference, which defeated the American Conference 52-21 in the 2016 All-Star game. We were well represented with 8 All Stars on the National Conference team. The strength of the National Conference makes for a very exciting regular season schedule. During our season, we are hosting or travelling to play teams from Chicago, Pittsburgh, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Detroit, and Columbus. These women are great athletes. They play great football. As a business, we have two missions. The first is to put a winning team on the field, create a great event for our fans and give them great value for their entertainment dollar. The second is to use the Fusion Vehicle to raise money for Cleveland area non-profits. Fusion Football will provide non-profits a fresh and different concept to build a fund raiser around. Fusion Management is committed to Cleveland and want to be a part of it's legendary tradition as a giving community.
