About Climate Action - AgTech
Climate Action was founded to produce massive positive climate impact. Together with key partners such as The Research Institute of Sweden we have been developing AI based deetch with the goal to remove the main barriers to scaling up soil carbon sequestration in agricultural soils. Soils are the largest natural carbon sink in the planet, and with small changes in agricultural systems we could be storing up to 3,8 billion tons of carbon in the soil every year, wich is equivalente to 80% of the global emission from att sectors combined. We are developing technologies to enable farmers to make these changes and become true climate heroes, by makking it easier and cheaper for farmers to monitor their progress, and give them tips as to how best they can sequester carbon from the atmosphere and store it in a stable form in the soil, where carbon belongs. The more carbon there is in the soil, the more fertile the soil is and the more nutricious the produce from the farm. Carbon in the soil not only has the great potential to mittigate climate change, it also helps to increase biological diversity and enhance food security. The more cabron in the soil the more farmers can produce per hectare. Increasing soil carbon is thus also needed for farmers worldwide to feed the growing global population.
