About Climate Global
Climate Global builds financial products to invest in real estate that is robust & durable from a climate perspective. The basic premise is simple: Regardless of your political leanings, climate events are getting more extreme & insurance companies have the most economic incentive to "get things right" -- almost to the point of being a self-fulfilling prophecy. As such, we team up with the world's best climate modelers (e.g. Moody's RMS) and others to build a deep understanding about the science that underpins climate risk, insurance underwriting and asset performance in a rapidly changing climate landscape. We deploy the same models that insurance companies use to to help humanity intelligently allocate resources for the long term -- e.g. the first Index & ETF of REITs weighted by climate robustness. At the same time, we aim to democratize access to the world's best climate models.
