About Climate Net – Networking to Net Zero

ClimateNet, Networking to Net-Zero, is an NGO established 2022, dedicated to creating a leapfrog jump in the way Israel and the Middle East respond to the climate, pollution, and ecological crises, by reducing the gaps in knowledge, policy, and science-based technologies, with special focus on carbon removal. Climate NET engages new players in the environmental sector, fostering collaborations among businesses, startups, investors, government, and the public to ensure impactful solutions and market education. Through science-based innovative projects, we provide investors and donors with opportunities that blend philanthropy and business. We advocate for ethical, financial, and regulatory support mechanisms to ensure the success of these endeavors and minimize any "greenwash" attempts to hamper the environmental mission. Special effort is put on educating the market by creating awareness, public demand and motivation for climate investments. Central Programs: 1. °360 Community: Rebuilding Israel's war-torn areas affected by the Oct. 7 massacre and following war into beacons of hope by implementing climate and environmental solutions into the reconstruction of affected communities. This approach covers a wide array of issues, with a °360 approach to all aspects of life that must implement climate innovation. Solutions developed here will be duplicated throughout Israel and worldwide. 2. CarbonNet IL: a network of hundreds of professionals from all stakeholder positions who are involved in carbon removal, sequestration and trade, aimed at creating a professional ecosystem that will become an international influencer in this field. In the two years since its establishment, we have organized two major conferences and many meetups and webinars. 3. Businesses for Climate: motivate businesses to take significant climate action by advocating for policy incentives and supporting regulation, and by educating businesses on impactful climate action opportunities.
