Cloud Nine Guides operates both a Internationally Certified (IFMGA) Guiding Service, as well a provides skills based, instructional programs through their Mountain School which teach safe and relevant ways for students to approach their own adventures in the high mountains. The Cloud Nine Guiding Service has designed and run programs on 5 continents including trips both above the arctic circle and to extreme high altitude (+20'000ft). Through their Mountain School they aim to provide courses that are consistently more affordable, teach a broader range of skills in all disciplines of mountain travel (ski, rock and ice climbing, avalanche courses/education), and maintain lower guide/instructor to student ratios on their programs than their direct competition can provide. Guides are certified by both the ACMG and IFMGA Certified Guides as well as being Professional & Active members of the Canadian Avalanche Association. They have a perfect safety record, high return and retention rates among their guests, as well as consistently high guest feedback scores of 9.8/10.
