About Clwydian Range Tourism Group

The Clwydian Range Tourism Group comprises small, rural businesses located in the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and is dedicated to sustainable development. Members are largely self-catering and B&B providers, pubs and restaurants and an increasing number of 'activity' businesses. The Group is independent and run by its members for its members. The Group originated back in 2001 with the aim to increase sustainable tourism within and close to the AONB. The Group has two open meetings each year where guest speakers are brought in or workshops are organised to provide support for businesses regarding IT, social media etc. These meetings provide excellent networking opportunities and many members have established mutually beneficial working arrangements. In addition to these meetings the Group organises visits to businesses in the area to increase awareness of the vast array of opportunities to be found locally.
